Come
discover the many facets of our Maple Capital of the Atlantic
Festival. The Festival takes place during the sugar season, on Easter
weekend, and caters to all ages. Among the maple products featured, you
will find syrup products, lumber, sculpture and culinary
arts. Activities include guided visits, a theatre production, a variety
of contests, and a maple products exhibition and sale. Meals featuring
maple products are obviously a highlight of the festival. All of these
aspects come together to form a happy marriage of traditional character
on the one hand, and the modern productivity of the sugar maple, of
such importance to our community, on the other. Even the most
sophisticated taste buds will be astounded, for maple syrup is like
wine – all depends on the region where it is produced; Saint Quentin
can boast of a vintage that is not easily rivaled! You will leave with
a sweet taste in your mouth, guaranteed!

What
can be said of our famous Western Festival, the most important of its
kind in the Maritimes and a major tourist attraction in the
region? Saint Quentin has succeeded in preserving its warm and rustic
‘Far West’ character, which helps explain the Festival’s
well-established reputation! The renowned Super Rodeo, which welcomes
cowboys from across the country, continues to grow each year. You won’t
want to miss the Miss Atlantic Cowgirl contest, bingo, the Pow-Pow,
professional country music shows and more. Our covered bleachers will
ensure your comfort during outdoor activities. This year, we are
expanding the schedule to include a variety of new features that are
sure to impress you! Fun times abound in the Restigouche when Youdly,
the Festival mascot, is in town!
